My name is Danny Snee. Chef Danny, if you will. I would use the label of master, but the Jedi council is yet to grant me that privilege. However, that’s ok, because the title of ‘chef’ makes me very important, as evidenced by the fact that ‘chef’ has its own entry on Wookiepedia. I ask you dear readers, where would we be without blind Jedi/chef Master Zao or 434-FPC Personal Chef Droids with their database of 1700 recipes? (don’t worry if you haven’t heard of those characters, no-one has). 

 

I myself do not have 1700 recipes. In fact, I generally won’t be focusing on recipes at all in this blog. On occasion I will provide detailed instructions on how to make the dishes that I display, but generally my focus will be on creating something more akin to an artist’s blog than a recipe page. I’m interested in decorating even more than baking, and I will provide general tips on making convincing nerdy works of food art. If you happen to be in the middle of the Ven diagram representing those who love Star Wars and those who love baking, put some time aside on your day off to try out some nerdy food art. It can be highly therapeutic to revisit one’s childhood and I believe that adding a fun artistic element helps to relieve some of the anxiety that some have around cooking.
